How do I become a Thespian?
You can become a Thespian by earning 10 points or 100 hours (1 point per 10 hours) working on plays and anything else we do that is drama related. You are then inducted into the International Thespian Society.
Can I get any other awards after I am inducted?
Yes, you can. At 15 points or 150 hours you recieve a JV letter, at 20 points you get a Varsity letter and a star, and at every 10 points after that you get a star, up until 60 points, when you are named an honor thespian.
What is an Honor Thespian?
An Honor Thespian is someone who has put 600 hours or 25 total days of their life into drama. This is one of the highest honors you can receive.
I hear people talking about "state", what are they talking about?
The State Thespian Confrence is a confrence that we go to almost every year and this year it is going to be on Jan. 6-8 in Joplin, MO.
